LA Guide
LA has become a home from home, and we love any opportunity to soak up some much needed sunshine and capture special moments in our client’s lives.
We’re back in LA next month (our final few appointments can be booked here) and find a facial at @formulafig does wonders for the jetlag.
If you’re visiting us in LA; whether to celebrate a milestone birthday, create a pregnancy sculpture or simply a celebration of oneself, why not make it an occasion to remember and visit one of our favourite spots in the city.
With Fig bars in WeHo and Culver Steps, you’re never too far from a moment of self care to have you glowing (even after an 11 hour flight!). Their high tech facials deliver incredible results in just 30 mins and we’re begging for them to open up in London.
Personally, it is our favourite part of the hills to hike in. A route well trodden is up from the Cara hotel to the Observatory and down the other side to end up at All Time for a well-earned glass of wine and hearty small plates.
If you want great coffee in a chic location with no silly frills then this is the place for you!
This coffee shop also boasts a cute deli and flower shop with an excellent iced tea to boot.
Go for brunch with a friend so you can share the potato rosti on the side of your order.
Say what you want about Gwyneth Paltrow but Goop Kitchen is the go to Uber Eats order for the SB team. Our pick are the kale and brussels salad or the teriyaki bowl.
It’s become our LA home with chic and timeless interiors and a killer menu. Come for a drink and live music at the bar and stay for the little gem salad.
If you’re looking to live out your Malibu beach fantasy then look no further than the Surfrider. Right by the pier combining retro details with beachy blues.
This spot is bigger than it first appears with multiple terraces yet manages to transport you to a European trattoria with real vine leaves adorning the walls and soft candlelight creating an intimate vibe.
If you’re looking for old school Hollywood then this is the place for you. Ask for the corner spot if you’re looking to cosy up to a date.
Small plates that add up to so much more than the sum of their parts with endlessly flowing baguette to accompany them.
Not to be missed and worth the trip to DTLA. Get the charred brussels and baby artichokes.
This had been on our list for a while and did not disappoint when we got there. All based on Ayurveda their all vegan ice creams leave you feeling super satisfied without the sugar crash.
We love their Cardamom Orange bun and have also been known to bring this back to the UK. It's that good!
We’d love to know if you end up at any of our recommendations - please do tag us on instagram if you do!
